Electro Freeze has been a trusted name in commercial frozen dessert equipment for nearly 100 years. Founded in East Moline, Illinois, in 1929, Electro Freeze began manufacturing some of the very first soft serve machines. With industry innovations from early on in its existence, Electro Freeze began supporting Dairy Queen in 1946, manufacturing Dairy Queen’s first pressurized ice cream freezer and developing the first Twist Machine in 1958.

Our Colorado story began with husband-and-wife team Paul and Andrea (Dre) Cervantes. Paul spent years working on commercial frozen dessert machines in real foodservice environments, from high-volume quick serve operations to independent shops with a serious focus on quality. Over time, he saw the difference between machines that made life harder and those truly built for the job.
Electro Freeze machines stood out.
The machines are simpler, more robust and designed with fewer unnecessary complications. They perform under pressure, produce a high-quality product and are built for operators who care about both reliability and profitability.
Paul and Dre pursued authorization to become the Electro Freeze distributor in Colorado because they believed Colorado deserved strong local representation from a machine brand they trusted.
